How do I set up my QuietComfort headphones?
Download and install the free Bose app from the App Store or Play Store on your mobile device. The Bose app allows you to set up and control your device from your phone or tablet.
How do I connect my QuietComfort headphones to a Bluetooth device?
Make sure your device is Bluetooth enabled.
Slide and hold the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right for 3 seconds until you hear “Ready to connect” and the status light flashes blue.
Select your headphones from the list of discovered devices.
How do I update the firmware/software of my QuietComfort headphones?
You can update in two ways:
Connect your headphones to your computer via USB and access the Bose update website.
Or, update wirelessly via the Bose app on Android or iOS.
How do I reset my headphones?
Connect the USB-C cable to the left earbud.
Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right, then plug the other end into a USB-A power source.
Once the reset is complete, the status light will display the current battery level.
How do I clear the Bluetooth pairing list?
Turn on the headphones and slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right for 15 seconds until you hear “Bluetooth device list cleared. Ready to connect.”
Remove the headphones from the Bluetooth list on your device.
